  • Be sure to visit the swim course early in the morning before race day.

  • Long slight grade uphill into the wind usually.

  • Be prepared to grind out a 2+ mile grade FOUR times.

  • Generally pretty flat with one significant hill.

Run course tips
  • Stay calm on the uphill through town immediately out of transition.  Don't get amped up by the crowd and blow yourself up if you feel great.  Don't give up if you feel poorly.  Make the top of the grade and the next mile is downhill or flat.

  • Stake out your territory early and be prepared to defend it.  The race is well supported!! :)
